Dads’ Business aims to improve outcomes in ante natal and post natal health, improve outcomes for children’s physical and post natal health, and to improve the social and emotional development of children through working with fathers and fathers-to-be in the Playford region.

Services Provided:
The program offers a range of activities which recognise the value of fathers in family and children’s lives and has a focus on building capacity in men as fathers, whether or not they are the primary carers of their children. This is done within a community building framework. Many of the program’s activities are delivered with groups of men through small group work and in community event settings. The program provides information, referral and support to Playford families and has a particular commitment to Aboriginal fathers and children. The program is funded through Communities for Children Plus, Playford, under the Australian Government’s Family Support Program.
