The program aims to improve outcomes in ante natal and post natal health and children’s physical, social and emotional development in the Playford region.

Services Provided:
The program offers a range of activities which recognise the importance of the attachment relationships in families and children’s lives and has a focus on early intervention. This is done through working closely with relevant health and early childhood services in the delivery of attachment and parenting education through group sessions and home visiting. Ante natal support is provided from the second trimester of pregnancy. Support is also provided where there is an apparent attachment disorder and the child is four years old or less. This service is funded by Communities for Children, Playford, under the Australian Government’s Family Support Program.

Targeted Client Group:
Pregnant women at risk of peri and post natal depression and their babies and children and families in the Playford region.
