Our Services - Time For Family

This program has a focus on families with 5-12 year old children and operates in the Onkaparinga area. The program provides opportunities to improve family functioning and relationships, increase family skills related to family safety and child development, and build resilience, capacity and resources.

The program offers families an overnight camp, follow up sessions and some home visiting. At sessions, parents come together in an informal setting to explore other ways of understanding and addressing their personal and family challenges. Children’s sessions provide children with fun experiences with a focus on being heard, building resilience and safety, and enjoying fun activities with other children in a safe environment. The program is a Child Protection Support Service funded through Communities for Children, Onkaparinga, under the Australian Government’s Family Support Program.
