Wandana Community Centre


Wandana Community Centre provides a range of social, educational, recreational and community services for people in the local community of Gilles Plains and surrounding suburbs.

Working collaboratively with other service providers, Wandana Community Centre has developed numerous programs that meet the needs and interests of local people in all their diversity.

Wandana Community Centre organises and provides adult learning classes and groups and provides services that include information and referral, counselling, individual assistance and advocacy and special projects.

Adult community education programs, including English, literacy and numeracy, computing, cooking, (non-accredited and accredited training), work experience, craft, fitness and relaxation, recreational and social activities, school holiday workshops for children and youth, volunteer program, counselling services; and information and referral.

Term 4 Activities

This is the time of year when we look back and see what we have been doing and start to plan for next year. We would appreciate hearing from you to enable us to plan well for 2012.  Please tell us what you have liked about our program this year and comment on anything that you think we could have done better. If there is something that you would like to see happening here in your local community centre in 2012, please email, phone or drop in and let us know.

Wandana Community Centre continues to offer a range of activities and courses. Check out our program and consider joining an activity in the next 9 weeks of term 4, 2011.
