Our Services - Navigate

Navigate is an early intervention service that provides support for families where there is a young person aged 16 - 24 with an emerging mental health issue. The aim is to assist the family to successfully navigate available mental health services and to build on confidence and resilience in managing mental health issues within the family.

The service seeks to engage families who are not receiving an appropriate service or are ‘falling between the gaps’ as a result of failing to meet established service criteria. This will be done by offering an early intervention assessment and referral service (home visiting included), parenting education and young persons mentoring programs.   Navigate mental health aims to keep families in tact as they are affected by mental illnesses.

ELIGIBILITY:
The service is targeted to families in the Adelaide Metropolitan area who have a young person
(aged 16 – 24) who is living with a mental health illness.
