The Nunga STARS (Strengthening True Aboriginal Radiating Spirit) program aim to reduce the use of alcohol and other substances and related offending for Aboriginal young women.

Enable Aboriginal young women to make positive life choices, increase family connectedness, and develop future pathways by:

-    reducing substance misuse;
-    reduce offending related to substance use;
-    reduce likelihood of recidivism / reoffending;
-    enhance family and community connection, engagement and participation;
-    enable Aboriginal young women to further develop wellbeing, cultural identity and esteem.

The service will be delivered through the provision of group work, work with the individual and families, and community engagement.
