Centacare Youth Services provides support and partly furnished accommodation to young people aged between 15-24 years of age who are at risk of homelessness in the Barossa area.

Service provision includes:
- confidential assessment and referral
- transitional housing whilst being supported by a case manager
- outreach support from a worker whilst entering into or remaining in private rental or public housing
- Barossa service has two share accommodation properties for young people

Support is focused on individualized case management and case work including case conferencing and liaison, information, advocacy and referral with a focus on issues connected to ensuring stable, secure, long term accommodation.

ELIGIBILITY:
Young people aged between 15-24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and eligible for an independent Centrelink income.

REFERRALS:
Mon – Fri 9am to 5pm via the daily duty worker OR emergency accommodation through Trace-A-Place 1300 306 046 during the week via Crisis Care after hours on 13 16 11.

COST:
There is a cost for rent and utilities.
