Time spent at Cheltenham Place can arrest declining health due to factors such as poor nutrition and isolation – declining health and subsequent admission to hospital can effectively be avoided.
Referrals to Cheltenham Place:
Referrals for admission to Cheltenham Place are made by medical practitioners, community workers, RDNS HIV Coordinators, and workers from HIV agencies. People living with HIV/AIDS may self-refer. Enquiries should be directed to the Cheltenham Place (ph 8272 8799) or the RDNS HIV Coordinators (ph 0421 611 625). Referrals requiring nursing input are assessed by the RDNS HIV Coordinators.
