Centacare Youth Services Whyalla provide support and furnished accommodation to young people aged 15 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Whyalla or the surrounding regions of Cowell, Cleve, Kimba and Iron Knob.
Service provision includes:
- confidential assessment and referral
- transitional housing whilst being supported by a caseworker
- outreach support from a worker whilst entering into or remaining in independent accommodation
Support is focused on individualised case management and case work including case conferencing and liaison, information, advocacy and referral with a focus on issues connected to ensuring stable, secure, long-term accommodation.
| ELIGIBILITY
Young people aged 15 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and eligible for an Independent Centrelink Income

Mon – Fri 9.00am to 5.00pm via duty worker
