Some tenants need support in order to maintain good relationships with neighbours, but also support in life skills to improve their chances of maintaining a reasonable rental history.

The ITSS is based in Whyalla and can assist with tenants who are under threat of being evicted from their rental property due to excessive rubbish build up inside or outside of their property, clutter which interferes with living spaces and is a potential fire hazard or non-payment of rent.  We can organise skip hire, gardening services, rubbish removal and professional house cleaning, free of charge.

Our services go beyond simply cleaning up – our Support Worker can also help you with issues affecting your tenancy, negotiate with Housing SA or your landlord and link you to other community services to help with any other independent living or financial issues you may have.
