Unstable accommodation, transience and homelessness can impact a young person’s educational opportunities and future success.
The Schools Assertive Outreach (SAO) service is a free intervention service that supports young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to stay connected with education. This is crucial to minimising the impact of homelessness both now and in the future.
SAO connects young people to further education, training, employment and safe and secure accommodation.
