Unstable accommodation, transience and homelessness can impact a young person’s educational opportunities and future success.

Schools Assertive Outreach (SAO) is a free intervention service that supports young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to stay connected to education. This can play a crucial role in minimising the impact of homelessness, now and in the future.

SAO connects young people to further education, training, employment, and safe and secure accommodation.
