Despite a national focus on domestic violence, community norms still place the onus for solving the issue on the woman.
Centacare is working creatively on the frontline to keep young people, families and women and children safe.
Our priority is assisting those who have experienced, or are at risk of, domestic and family violence.
This support is provided regionally and in metropolitan Adelaide through our outreach and crisis accommodation services. These operate within a case management model that always keeps children’s safety paramount in its focus.
Our teams strive to turn challenges into opportunities by engaging, encouraging and advocating for all those we meet.
