Innovative Community Action Networks (ICAN) provides holistic case management and accredited alternative learning options for young people aged 10 to 19 years who are disconnected from or at risk of disengaging with education. Centacare delivers Relationship Education across metropolitan Adelaide. We support couples to build strong, healthy relationships and assist parents and children to navigate each stage of child development. Education includes workshops, courses, and group work. The Wandana Community Centre is run for and by the community at Gilles Plains in Adelaide’s north. Respecting people from a diversity of backgrounds, cultures, ages and gender, the Centre fosters and encourages personal growth and lifelong learning. Our Learning Centas provide young women with wellbeing support and learning opportunities, tailored to their needs and relevant to their important role as young parents. Access programs is a social enterprise of Centacare and specialises in the provision of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and other workplace mental health services. Services are provided on a fee for service basis and include confidential counselling, critical incident debriefing, conflict resolution, training and management coaching. ASCEND is a youth suicide intervention program and supports young people aged up to 25 years who are at risk of self-harm. The service also provides specialised training to build the capacity of people to appropriately respond and recognise warning signs. PACE provides support for people living with panic anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder and eating disorders, and those who support them. We run fortnightly support groups across Adelaide. The groups allow those facing the challenges of recovery to access professional support and share their experiences with others who understand what they are going through. Life challenges can present relationship difficulties and other issues which require adjusting to new circumstances. Centacare provides confidential counselling support to individuals, couples, families and children. Our emphasis is on safe and respectful family interactions while maintaining a child focus. headspace Port Adelaide is a free service providing early intervention mental health services to young people aged 12 to 25 years.Education and Training Services
