Limestone Coast
The Family Connections Program is a community-based mobile resource service for families with children aged 0-12 years. The service provides early intervention activities to families and aims to improve the wellbeing of families, children and young people; enhance family and community functioning; and increase the participation of vulnerable families in their community.
Playgroups are provided weekly during school terms in various and easy to access locations.
The team provide a free facilitated play-and-learn environment that encourages children and their parents and/or caregivers to engage in child and family focused play and chat sessions.
A free Mobile Toy Library is delivered following playgroups on a fortnightly basis during school terms. Families are welcome to borrow a variety of toys and play equipment to enjoy together at home.
Parenting education and attachment-based group programs are offered each term. Parents/caregivers are welcome to enquire and register with the team.

Our service is for all families with children 0-12 located in Mount Gambier, Millicent, Penola and the Wattle Range area.
All activities provided by the Family Connections Program are FREE of charge.
Families are welcome to attend our free playgroup sessions without making contact first. Referrals or connections by other service providers are also welcome.
