Relationship Education

We have developed our Relationship Education programs based on the latest research and strategies about what makes relationships successful.

About our service

Relationship Education is an opportunity to identify the strengths and challenges in your relationship.

Couples gain communication and conflict resolution strategies to assist them in navigating life together.

Many couples access our service prior to marriage, however it can be done during any stage of your relationship.

Suitable for:

  • engaged couples,
  • couples considering making a lifelong commitment to each other,
  • couples considering marriage or changing living arrangements,
  • couples who are living together.

This service is supported by the Catholic Dioceses and couples are often referred by their priest. However, the content is focused on the relationship. We encourage you to discuss any issues you have about religious aspects with your priests.

Our supports

Our highly skilled educators deliver the program in two distinct ways:

Three private one-hour sessions between the couple and an educator.

We use FOCCUS and other online relationship tools that are suited to your needs. These are great springboards for discussions regarding expectations, communication patterns, managing differences, conflict resolution, children, religion, culture, and finances.

The content is tailored to suit the individual circumstances of each couple.

Time For Us is available on Wednesday evenings till 7.30pm and Saturdays from 9.00am – 2.00pm.

A one-day group session is offered on several Saturdays 9am-2pm throughout the year.

A variety of topics are explored including communication, problem solving and conflict resolution.

This forum gives couples the opportunity to explore these issues both with each other and with other couples.
