Connection, Strength and Recovery program (CSR) is a recovery model of intervention which aims to build victim-survivors’ resilience, wellbeing and resources. The program provides a protective factor against potential future experiences of domestic or family violence (DFV) where increased connection, resilience and resources may increase a woman's safety.
Victim-survivors are offered therapeutic supports that focus on their experiences of trauma and its impact on their health and well-being. This may be through access to therapeutic groups or connection with specialised trauma informed counselling.
Case management provides individualised support to identify and access the assistance a victim-survivor needs to recover from DFV trauma. This could include financial, legal, workforce and health supports.
This service is funded by Department for Human Services.
The program provides:
Our service is for victim-survivors who are moving on from a specialist DFV crisis case management service who are not experiencing crisis at the time of referral and require recovery support. This service is dedicated to those who reside or plan to reside in the City of Mount Gambier.
Our program accepts referrals from specialist domestic violence services.
