South Australia’s Domestic Violence Disclosure scheme provides an avenue for a person who may be at risk of domestic violence to access information about their partner or former partner. This can help them to make decisions about their safety and the future of the relationship
Information is gathered from South Australian Police (SAPOL) records, which may include:
This service is funded by Department for Human Services.
The Domestic Violence Specialist will support the person receiving a disclosure, with safety and risk informed information, advice and any relevant referrals.

Anybody who identifies as eligible is able to apply online on SA Police website or in person at your local police station.
The Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme is an early intervention and prevention initiative. It is not an emergency response service.
Centacare provides domestic violence specialist support in the Murray Mallee, Limestone Coast and Riverland regions.
