PEAS in a Pod

PEAS in a Pod is a 9-week community-based parenting group that explores all aspects of parenthood. Meet other new parents of children aged 0-2 years in a safe, stimulating and supportive setting.

Build relationships and enhance children’s social, emotional, and language development while fostering strong parent-child attachment. The group focuses on your parenting experience while promoting mental health and emotional well-being.

About our service

PEAS workers engage parents in a safe, positive and supportive environment, fostering connections between participants and facilitators. This creates opportunities for parents to share their concerns, joys and lessons learned as new parents.

PEAS workers provide relevant information on health and parenting issues and encourage the use of local resources and connections. Information is shared in both group and one-on-one sessions, covering local services, activities and events relevant to participants' unique life challenges. PEAS staff also provide linkages and referrals where needed.

PEAS in a Pod is part of the Communities for Children Onkaparinga Initiative.

This service is funded by Department of Social Services, via our facilitating partner AnglicareSA.
