Fathers & Families

We provide activity-based educational opportunities and support for Fathers and Families with children aged 0-12 years. Those living in the Murray Bridge and Callington areas are encouraged to get in touch to find out what activities, groups and other supports are available throughout the year.

About our service

Fathers are supported to develop and grow their parenting capacity so as to play an active and meaningful role in their child’s life. We do this through individual and group sessions as well as recreational activities. 

One-to-one support, advocacy and parentings workshops are also provided as part of the overall program.

This service is funded by the Department of Social Services.

Our activities include

• kayaking on the River Murray,
• parenting courses,
• dad’ twilight playgroup,
• family activities,
• ante-natal classes,
• post-natal classes.

Eligibility

Our service is for fathers and families living in the Murray Bridge and Callington areas.

Referrals

We accept:

• self-referrals,
• referrals from clinical and non-clinical service providers,
• referrals from family members and friends.
