At headspace Port Adelaide we’re here for you. We provide free and confidential support where young people aged 12-25 can access qualified youth mental health professionals.

About our service

We support young people with mental health, physical health (including sexual health), alcohol and other drug services, as well as work and study support. With a focus on early intervention, we work with young people to provide support at a crucial time in their lives – to help get them back on track and strengthen their ability to manage their mental health in the future.  

This service is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. 

Administration of funding is carried out by the Adelaide Primary Health Network.

Our supports

We provide:

  • therapy sessions,
  • mental health skills support,
  • peer work,
  • social groups,
  • skill development groups,
  • family inclusive practice,
  • youth participation.

Eligibility

Our service is for young people aged 12-25

Cost

headspace is a FREE mental health service.

Referrals

We accept:

  • self-referrals,
  • referrals from family members and friends,
  • referrals from schools, health and community workers,
  • referrals from clinical and non-clinical service providers,
  • referrals from GPs via Head to Health.
