Supporting Children & Youth (SCY) aims to nurture the mental health of young people living in regional South Australia.

We work with families to build resilience and overcome challenges, and with children aged 0 to 18 years who are showing early signs, or are at risk, of mental illness.

Based at Murray Bridge, the outreach service provides three levels of support in the Murray and Mallee areas:

Intensive, long-term, early intervention support: This includes targeted therapeutic group work and is based on a Family Action Plan, providing practical whole-of-family support to improve child well-being.

Short-term information, referral and assistance: For families and carers

Community outreach: Including mental health promotion/education and links to community. Aimed at increasing local capacity to identify, understand and respond to the mental health needs of children and young people.
